Arrowhead Contracting, Inc. is part of a large business-led team selected for award of the USACE Security, Disaster, Infrastructure and Construction contract. Under this contract, Arrowhead will support prime contractor Weston Solutions, Inc. as a dedicated team subcontractor providing a broad range of construction phase services.

The SDIC contract is a five-year ID/IQ contract awarded through the USACE Omaha District. The contract has a total joint acquisition value of $490M. Task orders will be competed among three contract holders and work will be performed under both cost-reimbursable and firm fixed-price scenarios.   

Future work will consist of time-sensitive disaster or emergency assistance construction activities including, but not limited to, flood control and water diversion projects, embankments, channel alignments and flood control structures in support of civil works missions. The contract will also provide time-sensitive disaster or emergency assistance construction, operations and maintenance activities which includes facilities, infrastructure, water and sanitation systems, electrical systems, natural gas and other energy systems, fences, lighting, and roads to support troop movements and other related military missions. In addition, defense against terrorists attacks, and protection against/response to threats and hazards to National Security or the Public Interest to include (but not limited to): 1) security protection of Access Control Points, 2) Chemical/Biological/Radioactive (CBR) projects, 3) structural hardening of walls/roofs, installing blast/ballistic resistant windows/doors, and landscaping to achieve standoff distances for various structures, and 4) installation of security equipment such as cameras, intrusion detection systems, locks, fragment retention film, etc. (some projects may be classified). As a dedicated team member under the prime contract, Arrowhead Contracting, Inc. will support construction phase services.
